With a sense of dread, she opens the bathroom door and steps out, hoping against hope that her friends didn't notice. But the moment she walks back to the table, she knows they did. Carla's face turns red, and she feels her cheeks heat up with embarrassment. "I'm so sorry!" she cries out, rushing back to the bathroom. She spends the next few minutes cleaning up the mess, trying not to cry from humiliation. When she finally emerges, her friends are still waiting for her with concerned looks on their faces.

Looking back, Carla realizes that she was lucky her friends didn't make a bigger deal out of it. She knows that she needs to be more careful in the future, both for her own sake and for the sake of her relationships with others. In the meantime, she plans on spending more time in her bathroom, getting to know her body and her toilet habits better.
