She reaches down and grabs the slave by the chin, lifting his face to meet her gaze. "You have been a faithful servant," she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Now, you will be rewarded with a chance to live out your days in misery. You are free to leave." With a flick of her wrist, Kitra dismisses the slave. He crawls away from her, his mind reeling from the experience. As the door closes behind him, he can't help but wonder what horrors await him in the days to come.
