As the middle-aged lady walked into her clinician's office, she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. He says it's making him sick." The clinician nodded sympathetically and asked the lady to describe the discharge. The lady hesitated for a moment before answering, her face reddening with embarrassment. "It's kind of thick and white," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "And it just smells terrible. Like rotten eggs or something." The doctor listened carefully and asked a few more questions about the lady's medical history and any changes in her lifestyle or diet. After taking notes, she told the patient that she would need to perform a physical examination to determine the cause of the problem. As the examination progressed, the lady tried her best to remain calm and composed. But the smell was overwhelming, and she could feel herself starting to sweat. The doctor continued to probe and examine, finally concluding that the lady had a severe infection in her reproductive system. "I'm going to prescribe you some strong antibiotics," the doctor said, scribbling down a prescription. "You'll need to take them for at least two weeks, and make sure you keep the affected area clean and dry. It's also important that you avoid any sexual contact until the infection is completely cleared up." The lady nodded gratefully, relieved that there was a solution to her problem. As she left the doctor's office, she couldn't help but feel ashamed and embarrassed by what had happened. But she knew that she couldn't keep living like this, and she was determined to get better.
